Grace O’Dare (Kimball) enlisted in the US Coast Guard in 1943 and served as an officer. 1 O’Dare Kimball was born in New York City to Elizabeth and Patrick O’Dare. 1, 2 She graduated from Barnabas High School and Cornell University. 3 In September 1945, she married Clark Kimball with whom she had four children. 3, 4 She served for more than 20 years in Santa Fe with the St. Vincent Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered for the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce. 3
