Cecilia Struck (Jimenez) enlisted in the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) on March 17, 1944. 1 She became a bookkeeper for the Army during WWII. 2

Struck was born in Ranchos De Taos, New Mexico to Clorinda Martinez and Meliton Struck. 3, 4 Her father was a teacher and postmaster. 3, 4 Stuck grew up speaking Spanish. She attended Menaul School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and studied Arts and Sciences at the University of New Mexico. 5, 6 In 1950, she received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Texas A&M. 7Like her father, she became a teacher for many years and was an advocate for the elderly. 2
