Bataan Remembrance Day Commemorated
The New Mexico National Guard, with help from the New Mexico Department of Veterans Services, presented the annual Bataan Remembrance Day ceremony this year on April 8 in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico.

NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
LECTURE: CIVIL WAR VETERANS
The first in a series of educational lectures and cemetery visits with local K-12 schools in New Mexico. Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber and SFCC President Becky Rowley were featured speakers at our inaugural event.
New Mexico School for the Arts (NMSA) students participated in a lesson designed by Cameron Sperry to explore our local Civil War Veterans interred in SFNC.

Veteran’s Day Ceremony
Lead Speaker Teresa Leger Fernandez. Stories told about PANCHO NAVA, the first Santa Fean killed in the Vietnam War, and JUAN ROMERO, a Korean War veteran, presented by their family members. The Navy Band and Color Guard presented.
