Glenn Allen Bulson was born in 1883 in Wisconsin to Albert Bulson and Florence Breck and moved to Jackson Mississippi prior to the 1900 census. Glenn went on to graduate with Bachelor of Arts in 1906 from University of Michigan Ann Arbor,[i] where he continued there to receive his Medical Doctorate shortly after. Like many American men after the sinking of the Lusitania, Glenn enlisted 1917 for the Medical Reserve Corps as a surgeon. [ii] When World War I had ended, Dr. Glenn Bulson went to Arizona to work with military tuberculosis patients at Fort Whipple in Prescott. It was here that he had contracted the disease himself and was discharged 1920. From there, he was sent to Fort Bayard New Mexico for his own treatment at their tuberculosis ward. However, he succumbed to Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Laryngitis June 29, 1929. [iii] He was survived by his wife Bertha who resided in El Paso where they had lived together prior to his death.
