According to the New Mexico, US, World War II Records, 1941 – 1945, Raymond enlisted into the US Army on November 7, 1940 in Albuquerque New Mexico at the age of 29, he did his basic training at Fort Bliss, Texas. He completed his military service and was discharged on September 21, 1945. His father was Eustacio, his mother was Lillie Narvaiz and his spouse was Amanda Narvaiz.1
He was President of C.W.A. Union, Local 8670, and was for 10 years a Custodian with the Albuquerque Public School System. He was a Veteran of W.W. II.
